How to deposit liquidity into PeFi Igloos: A step-by-step Guide

In this guide, we’ll explain how to provide liquidity to PEFI igloos (yield farming 🚜) in a comprehensible manner.

Step 1: Acquire LP tokens from Pangolin for any one of the following pairs:

• PEFI/AVAX (30.19% PEFI rewards allocation)
• PEFI/PNG (24.53% PEFI rewards allocation)
• PEFI/SNOB (24.53% PEFI rewards allocation)
• AVAX/ETH (20.75% PEFI rewards allocation)

All igloos that are currently available.

Step 2: Go to the C-Chain Explorer for the respective LP token you’re trying to deposit.

The website for the explorer is: https://cchain.explorer.avax.network/

You can copy-paste the address on the C-Chain search bar depending on the pair you’re looking to deposit.

In this example, we used the PEFI/AVAX token address.

1. PEFI/AVAX PGL token: 0x494Dd9f783dAF777D3fb4303da4de795953592d0
2. ETH/AVAX PGL token: 0x1aCf1583bEBdCA21C8025E172D8E8f2817343d65
3. PEFI/PNG PGL token: 0x1bb5541EcCdA68A352649954D4C8eCe6aD68338d
4. PEFI/SNOB PGL token: 0x0b9753D73e1c62933e913e9c2C94f2fFa8236F6C

After entering the contract address, go to Write Contract:

Go to where it says 1. approve:

• For spender(address) set it to: 0x8AC8ED5839ba269Be2619FfeB3507baB6275C257 (Igloo/Masterchef Contract)
• Set the value to: 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
• Click “Write”

• Confirm the transaction in your wallet

Step 3: Under the same contract page, go to “Read Contract” and then scroll down to where it says “5. balanceOf”

Paste your address and press “Query”

• This will return the amount of LP tokens you have.

Write this number down as you will need for Step 5, it will the be _amount(uint256)

Step 4: Go to the Igloos Smart Contract by clicking here.

Step 5: Go to Write Contract and look for “deposit →”

• On the box that says _pid(uint256) enter the number of the desired pool. You can see their respective numbers below.
• 0 => PEFI/AVAX
• 1 => AVAX/ETH
• 2 => PEFI/PNG
• 3 = > PEFI/SNOB
• Under _amount, enter the amount of LP tokens you are trying to deposit.
• Confirm the transaction on your MetaMask wallet.

Congratulations, after following all the steps your liquidity tokens are being staked in the Igloos and you’ll start to receive $PEFI once rewards go live!
