Make Igloos, Not War: New JOE & PNG Yield Farming Strategies
This Tuesday, Oct. 26th, Penguin Finance will be introducing a special, limited-time yield farming campaign to our Igloo yield farms! As you all know, leading DEXs Trader Joe and Pangolin have been at war for months now, leaving thousands of soldiers on the battlefield as an epic rivalry unfolds across Avalanche Crypto Twitter.
As cute and friendly Penguins, we want to bring these two communities back together. And what better way to do that than putting our Igloos V2 contracts to good use by sending Joe Bros some PNG rewards and our Pangolins some JOE rewards.
From Tuesday 26th to Monday 1st, users of select liquidity pools will be earning an additional 10% rewards as PNG or JOE. The pools are the following:
- ETH-AVAX (Trader Joe LP), ETH-AVAX (Pangolin LP)
- PEFI-AVAX (Trader Joe LP), PEFI-AVAX (Pangolin LP)
- PNG-AVAX (Pangolin LP)
- JOE-AVAX (Trader Joe LP)
Penguins will receive the additional 10% of token rewards as PNG if the underlying pool they’re farming is on Trader Joe. Penguins will receive the additional 10% of token rewards as JOE if the underlying pool they’re farming is on Pangolin.
For example, if you’re farming AVAX-JOE (Trader Joe LP), you’ll receive +10% rewards as PNG, and if you’re farming AVAX-PNG (Pangolin LP), you’ll receive +10% rewards as JOE.
Thanks to our layer-2 yield farming technology, the APRs of these pools are guaranteed to be significantly higher than the underlying farms and will receive four token rewards simultaneously.
By modifying these strategies for five days, we’ll showcase what Igloos are truly capable of with the first QUADRA reward Igloos on Penguin Finance.
